A: A divorce actually begins before anything is filed with the Court. When you or your spouse think about ending your marriage, the divorce begins then. If you are having thoughts of leaving the marriage long after your initial feelings of anger, frustration or resentment, that a good sign that the marriage is in trouble. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you will end up divorced, but it is a sign that some kind of action is going to be required to either save the marriage or file for divorce.
