David Horn received a Juris Doctor from the University Of Arkansas in Little Rock, a Masters Degree in Political Science from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, and a Bachelors Degree in Education from Williams Baptist College
Mr. Horn is retired from the United States Army after serving honorably for more than 20 years on active duty. As a veteran, he is keenly aware of the special circumstances that affect military families on a daily basis. Upon being admitted to practice in Arkansas he immediately went into private practice as a solo practitioner providing legal services in the areas of family law, criminal law and various aspects of civil litigation. Mr. Horn has successfully represented many members of the military in the areas of family law, criminal law, personal injury suits, civil litigation, consumer law and bankruptcy. After being in private practice on his own for more than two years, Mr. Horn joined a major firm in Little Rock to expand his practice and experience in the areas of consumer law and Bankruptcy. While in this position he continued to represent members of the military and gained a considerable amount of experience as a litigator and trial attorney while maintaining and improving his knowledge and experience in his other areas of practice. Mr. Horn is now a partner with Butler, Horn, Nye & Johnson where he is focusing his practice and improving his skills in the areas of consumer law and bankrupty.
Practice Areas:
Mr. Horn represents clients in the areas of consumer law and bankruptcy by defending them against creditors, predatory lenders, and debt collectors. When necessary he assists his clients by filing for protection under the United States Bankruptcy Laws.
Mr. Horn continues to represent clients, particularly members of the Military and their families in divorce, child custody, adoptions and other aspects of family law.
Mr. Horn continues to represent clients including members of the military in the area of criminal law. He has considerable trial experience and has successfully defended members of the military in jury trial.
